Digital Literacy Project

Mission
The Atwater Digital Literacy Project, an initiative of the Atwater Library and Computer Centre (ALCC), helps youth and community organizations learn creative web technologies (blogging, audio, video, digital photos) to talk about things important to them, strengthen ties to their communities and build networks of friendship and trust.
The Sense Project

Mission
- We call our peer-based sex education program: the Sense Project because we wish to help young people to make “sense” of their sexuality, and because we want their sexual (among other) choices to make "sense"!
- Our aim is to support Montreal high school students between 14 and 17 years of age to have a healthy sexual development by giving them the information and emotional tools to make empowering choices.
W.O.R.D

Mission
W.O.R.D. is a youth-led literacy program working with inner-city youth in Montreal. We use positive hip hop music and culture to educate, engage and empower youth through literacy, critical thinking and self esteem development.
