"So I think for them maybe it's hard for them to sort of negotiate me and how they should act and what's appropriate and like, what boundaries, and you know we could see them really pushing those boundaries."

"People just love the idea of teaching good sex ed, like quality sex ed that has a bit of different spin to it than maybe what they got in high school because maybe they were queer themselves and they felt really left out by the sex ed they were being taught, or maybe they found that sex education was problematic in other ways, and so I find that a lot of people want to kind of give back to people who are bit younger than them."

"So, every student involved got three hours of sex ed. The sex ed is not very traditional, depending on I guess what your definition of traditional is, but we do talk about contraception, and we do talk about safer sex practices. We really push condom use, and are quite insistent about handing out condoms in classes, so we don’t go into classrooms where we can’t do that if the schools have a problem with it. "
